I wonder what would have been on the mind of BCCI bigwigs when they planned a match in Dharamsala in Jan, especially when the Indian cricket calender is fairly full and it would have been possible to allocate a match at more congenial times.
Perhaps they thought that as good hosts the English team needs to be given the opportunity to play in more "home like" conditions. But one essential component was missing - rain. But as the results show, the English team was very much at home at Dharamshala.
